Gasherbrum IV Expedition

Gasherbrum IV Expedition

$7800 $6500 / per person
(0 Reviews)

If there’s a mountain harder to climb than K2, it’s considered to be Gasherbrum IV. The peak is 7925m and an extremely technical climb. Its sheer rock faces are relentless and the objective dangers are many. On top of that, it’s located in a part of the world where the weather is very unstable.

  • Range:                      Karakoram Ranges
  • Altitude:                    Min: 600m – Max: 7,925 Meters
  • Zone:                         Permitted
  • Duration:                   40 Days
  • Best Time:                Mid May – End September
  • Activities:                 Horse riding, Trekking, Sightseeing, Cultural Exploration, Singing

The impressive mountain is the first of the “big ones” you can see when walking in towards the Baltoro area. It’s located at the intersection where the Baltoro glacier splits and Gasherbrum IV is really looming over everything around. There are two main attack routes. One is directly from a relatively low altitude from the Baltoro glacier and the other one is from the huge glacier fields close to camp one of Gasherbrum I, II and III.

We have gained a reputation for success on 8000m peaks; much is to do with the strength of support we put in place. On Gasherbrum, we add considerable strength to our team by our team of Pakistani high altitude porters who have already climbed the magnificent peak much time.
