The Karakoram Ventures presents you an amazing tour package that will cover many famous and worth visiting destination at once. In This package we will cover Hunza Valley, Fairy Meadows, Karakoram Highway, Gilgit City, Altit and Baltit Forts etc. Our Itinerary will kick off once our participants reach Islamabad. Furthermore, we have included Hotel stay and Airport pick and drop for our International clients. However, Local and domestic clients can join us at the time of departure. During this one week tour we are mainly focusing on two places of Northern areas of Pakistan. Therefore, this package is highly recommended for all of the seasons except winters. For this reason, we have special tour packages in each seasons. They are Fairy Meadow and Hunza Spring tour, Cherry Blossoming Hunza valley tour. Similarly, Hunza and Fairy Meadows autumn tour and autumn Photography Hunza valley tour.

Brief Information about Hunza:

Hunza is a mountainous valley situated in the extreme northern part of the region of Pakistan. Interestingly, It share borders with Afghanistan and China.The Hunza Valley is perfect destination for tourists who may be weary of the hustle and bustle of Pakistan’s constantly people-filled attractions. Brief Information about Fairy Meadows

Named by German climbers “Fairy Tale Meadows”) and locally known as Joot. It is place is a grassland near one of the base campsites of the Nanga Parbat, located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Nanga Parbat lies in the West End of Himalaya also known as killer Mountain. It has fastest rising by 7mm every year faster then the other part of the Himalayan chain. Thousands of local and International trekkers visits Fairy Meadows to enjoy the magnificent views. At an altitude of about 3,300 meters above the sea level, it serves as the launching point for trekkers summiting on the Rakhiot face of the Nanga Parbat.Trek of fairy Meadows start from Tato village. It has a two to three hours of trekking depending on your fitness level, you’ll reach Fairy Meadows. However there is a dangerous jeep ride of 02 hours to reach Tatto village from Raikot bridges.

DAY 01 ARRIVAL AT ISLAMABAD

Arrival Islamabad today. You can explore ShakarParian to catch a bird's eye view of Islamabad. Our next stop will be Shah Faisal Mosque which is the landmark of Islamabad. This evening you will enjoy a welcome dinner. Above mentioned plan for Day 01 is only for International tourists. Tour plan for domestic clients will follow from Day 02

DAY 02 ISLAMABAD – CHILAS

  • Total Duration: 12 Hours
we will resort to travel by road to Chilas. The drive is compensated by the beautiful scenery along highway and Indus gorges or another way to reach Chila via Babusar Pass (Only open in Summer).

Day 03: Chilas - Tatto village - Fairy Meadows

Early in the morning  Breakfast  will be serve in hotel. we will Departure from Jaglot/ Chilas to Raikot Bridge. It might take 2 hours to reached Raikot Bridge. Shift in the jeeps and 2 hrs Adventurous jeep ride till Tatto village. Refreshment break at Jeep Point
  • In afternoon we will Start the 4 hrs trek to Fairy Meadows.
  • Light lunch, tea will be served and Dinner followed by Bonfire session.
  • Night stay in Wooden Cottages / Camps at Fairy Meadows

Day 04: Trek to Beyal Camp

Trek to Beyal Camp & Nanga Parbat closer View Point and back to Fairy meadows. Those participants who want to stay at fairy meadows, can spend free day at Fairy Meadows

Day 05: Departure for Upper Hunza

Our next destination will be Hunza. Whole estimate including both trek and jeep drive it might take 7 hours to reach Hunza -Karimabad.

Trip booking procedure: Once you booked the desired Tour package with The Karakoram Ventures. We will sent you an email for the confirmation of you booking. After that we will sent you the detailed materials which will be really useful to understand even the minor details about your tour. You should have a passport at least valid for the next 6 months. The Karakoram venture will help you to get a Pakistani visa for that purpose you have to send us a Scanned image of your passport. We will sent you an invitation letter, addressing the nearest Pakistani Embassy. There are 2 different ways to apply for the tourist visa.
  1. The conventional way – Filling the visa form and submitting along with required documents in the nearest Pakistani Embassy or consulate.
  2. You can also fill the visa form Online at: https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/tourist-visa/ . You have to upload the required informations. It might take 8 – 10 working days.

Important Notes
Early Bird Discount
The given price for the trek is an early bird discount and will change after January. There will be an increase of US$ 80 every month after January. Our trekking holiday prices will not change once you have paid the deposit so the price when you book is the price you will pay. Register yourselves early to avoid increase in holiday prices. The given price for the trek is not negotiable unless you have a large private group.
Price discrimination
We strongly believe that foreign tourists should not pay more than locals. The reason for what may seem to be price discrimination is purely because of the additional and necessary services included as you will find under holiday information.
Deposit amount for Pakistani nationals
The deposit amount for Pakistani nationals is PKR 10,000 or 10% of total price, whichever is greater. The deposit amount is non-refundable and non-transferrable to other departures.
Refund policy
Deposit: Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable as it will be spent on making in-country arrangements. In case of visa rejection, a refund/partial-refund (if costs incurred) will be considered. In such cases, a valid proof of visa rejection must be submitted to our office within 72 hours of rejection. The deposit in non-refundable for Pakistani nationals in all cases.
Balance: Pay the balance amount on arrival in Pakistan on the first day.
Currency
All foreign tourists are charged in US Dollars (USD) while Pakistani tourists are charged in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
Single Supplement
Separate hotel rooms (single supplement) will cost additional US$ 390. This includes all hotel nights. This payment should be made with the balance amount.
Separate tent (single tent) will cost additional US$ 160. This includes cost of additional porterage. This payment should be made with the balance amount upon arrival.
**Before requesting to register with us for this trip, we encourage intending participant that he/she should read and understand the following terms and conditions. Kindly note it, Do this tour at your own risk. For any query about the plan, please contact the mentioned contacts.
  • Reservations:
Reservations can be made by mailing. The Tour cost is strictly based on the itinerary and the total number of hotel and camp nights mentioned therein. If the trip has to be delayed due to bad weather, road washouts, canceled or delayed flights, sickness, Government restrictions or any other contingency for which “The Karakoram Ventures” cannot make provisions, the resulting extra cost for such delay is not included.
  • Form of payment:
Advance payment 30 % of the land cost for the booking confirmation will be accepted via online transfer or deposit to the Bank account of The Karakorum Ventures. Rest of the Payment only will be accepted only in cash or a certified cheque.
  • Cancellation & Refund:
Cancellation must be notified either by a phone call or by email to the mentioned email address of The Karakoram Ventures. Cancellation charges shall be levied as follows: 30 days before departure 25 % of the advance booking fee, 29 – 15 days before departure 50 % of the land cost, 14 to 1 day before departure 90% of the land cost. No refund will be given for any unused portion of the trip. The host reserves the right to cancel the trip without prior notice for any reasons deemed appropriate by them. In such a case the registered participants will receive a full refund.
  • Insurance:
Visitors are advised to get the insurance that covers cancellation, accidents, health emergency evacuation, helicopter rescue, and loss or damage of baggage and personal effects. This insurance must be arranged directly with your agent/insurance company.
  • Baggage:
Every member is entitled to bring a maximum weight of 15 kg (International clients) and 10 kg (national clients) of personal baggage. Any excess baggage portage will be charged separately.
  • Change of Itinerary:
Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made only where deem advisable for the safety and comfort of the client.
  • Liability:
The Karakoram Ventures, its agents and employees will not be liable for any injury, death, damage, loss, accident, delay, theft, irregularity or acts of God, either by the acts of any company or person engaged in conducting the tour.
  • Responsibilities:
The Karakoram Ventures will provide transports, accommodations, meals and other necessary requirements which are mentioned in the tour itinerary.
  • Ethical Considerations:
Each participant should treat other Club member with respect, dignity, and honor. Use of violent behavior including altercation, insinuations of indecent kind, verbal and physical abuse and assault, aggravated behavior, or any other act amounting to unbecoming of member are strictly prohibited. Special respect for female members would be exercised. Sportsmen spirit shall be displayed at all times.
  • Drugs:
Using drugs or found party to drug sale or possession is strictly prohibited.
  • Team Work:
Our trip is expected to be an adventure trip and we will be camping using tents which will be erected with the help of the participants. All participants are expected to help each other to erect tents and to follow the instructions of Team Leader. It should be noted carefully that we will not use hotels for lodging until and unless we are facing unavoidable circumstances.
  • Cultural Considerations:
Photos and movies are permitted to be shot during our trip provided it is not objectionable to local people or any participant particularly females. These photos and movies are aimed for personal use only.
  • Environmental Care
All members would give due care for the local environmental care. Garbage (tins. Water bottles, wrappers, etc.) Shall be suitably disposed of without polluting water sources.
