K2 Base Camp trek is a must experience trek once in lifetime for all back pacers across the globe. This trek is for those who have great passion for extreme circumstances and ready to take the risk of avalanches, unpredictable harsh weather and extreme adventures. K2 Base Camp trek has allowed thousands of the adventure lovers to enjoy the magnificence of the great Karakoram. For the K2 Base Camp, the route follows Braldu River up to Baltoro Glacier, a 70-km long highway of the ice. K2 Base Camp gives great views of four 8,000 meter peaks out of 14 on earth and is thought by many to be one of the best high altitude treks in the world.

From Skardu we drive to Askole, where our team of porters prepares load for the trek up to K2 Base Camp. On the first few stages, we cross the snout of the Biafo Glacier, and negotiate the narrow trails above the Braldu River, before ascending the lateral moraine to the Baltoro Glacier. Ascending the glacier, we gain unrivaled views of the Karakoram. With the option of stopping at non-traditional campsites wherever possible, we move along the surrounding rock spires, granite towers. Occasionally on and off the Baltoro Glacier itself, we reach Concordia, from where we have the most spectacular view of some of the World’s greatest giants. K2 (8611m), Broad Peak (8,048m), Gasherbrum II (8,035m), Gasherbrum IV (7,925m), Chogolisa (7,665m) and Golden Throne (7,240m). We will follow the same route to back to Askole but bit fast than we went up.
